Parastate 999 – Paradigms free compilation
i just found that piece of music while surfing the internet. and even though that i am at work and not able to really listen to it, i think it should be shared with you. i could listen to two songs so far. the sound is very ambient and glitchy. there should be dubstep elements also, but i didnt get to them yet. check this release out and also check back to the parataste website. this neat little netlabel has some cool ambient pieces up on their servers.

last night i got the information, that statix is confirmed for the frequenzeinlauf in december. it is still a long time until then, but so you can check them out already. i first heard of them, when i was listening to mary anne hobbs radio1 show. their huge, powerful set made me go crazy while having the third beer of the night, right before leaving the house for party – but i could not leave and had to stay, the bass glued me on to the seats. i wanted to know, who this guy is (i thought it is only one producer) or where i can get them bloody tunes. i hit statix up via myspace and was able to get them interested into playing in germany. 5 people, yeah thats right: f-i-v-e, rockin one club, that is how it’s gonna be. i am really glad, to have them guys coming over to our small festival, because pretty sure, they are about to achieve a big name for themselves within the next months…
free bassnectar tune from upcoming album
there is another free tune to download, provided by bassnectar. the release is gonna be called “cozza frenzy” and is going to be a starting point for a phat release tour and some nice projects evolving around that. bassnectar plans on working together with a community of activists to deal with local issues that pertain to each city along the tour-route. for details you can contact basscorsair@bassnectar.net.

echo001 – anechoic chamber – free album
alright, this is one of the best things i stumbled upon during the last weeks. i did not want to withhold this to you, so thats why i am posting this link. check this full and free release definitely out – it’s pretty silent. but a great peace of musical art.
