23.09.2009 kaly live dub @ raw temple, bln
i have to thank marie, who told me, that kaly live dub are performing at the raw temple in berlin by tomorrow. the six lyon based guys are playing some really dope psychedelic, industrial kind of dub. their music isnt just built together in a sequencer – it is played live – with real guitars, a real drumset and so on. the pieces on myspace sound great. i gotta check them out and can just recommend, that you do so as well. it will be their only show in germany. so dont miss.

folks, it’s crazy party friday tonight. a couple days ago i wrote about the bassquake – where i wanna go really, really bad. but there is also this wobble party at the tacheles. a versatile night awaits you there. music from trip-hop tunes, over balkan beats, to dubstep are gonna be dropped. the soundsystem seems scary. dave, the impersonated wobble master keeps warning the crowd, and really tries to talk everybody into bringing their earplugs. sounds nice to me…

october 2009 seems to be a good month for dubstep music and parties. one day after the sub:stance party, the third issue of the way of the dub is gonna roll out big, presenting slaughter mob to you. i myself have never been at the ausland venue before. so i cant really tell you much about it, but i am pretty sure, that ill be there checkin it out – if I am not mistaken they will have a 15kW – 20kW soundsystem there that night – that would be sick.

another dubstep party you should not miss! the sub:stance party, put up by london/bln placed producer scuba is fucking sick. not only the line up is on fire, but also the club in which this party is held. the berghain has one of the most astonishing soundsystems i have ever seen. infrabass boxes and amplifier who let 30hz peak at 130db. sounds sick? yeah well: it is! you gonna feel the music and you gonna feel the vibes.

last night i got the information, that statix is confirmed for the frequenzeinlauf in december. it is still a long time until then, but so you can check them out already. i first heard of them, when i was listening to mary anne hobbs radio1 show. their huge, powerful set made me go crazy while having the third beer of the night, right before leaving the house for party – but i could not leave and had to stay, the bass glued me on to the seats. i wanted to know, who this guy is (i thought it is only one producer) or where i can get them bloody tunes. i hit statix up via myspace and was able to get them interested into playing in germany. 5 people, yeah thats right: f-i-v-e, rockin one club, that is how it’s gonna be. i am really glad, to have them guys coming over to our small festival, because pretty sure, they are about to achieve a big name for themselves within the next months…

it is official: on october 24th ganja white night will perform at the weltecho in chemnitz to make frequenzeinlauf #5 huge. the party won’t be like the other ones before: them guys have a special setup and are going to perform live on the band stage. i am very happy, to have them come to chemnitz. i love their blueberry and peace by fear releases and their freshest tune, which goes by the name gayfish is a god-damn big baller.

18.09.09 bassquake @ maria ostbhf, berlin
this is gonna be sick. yesterday i was ridin my bike home and had to ride through a small tunnel,where one name suddenly popped up in my head, hitting me rough from the right side. well i had to stop, luckily i did not fall off my bike, and reread what i just saw. so i looked at that black and white wallpaper and, yeah it was for real: appleblim is going to be in town.
besides him, there some real big names, who gonna perform at the maria (ostbahnhof) on september the 18th in berlin.
