Introducing MRC Riddims + free 320s

I am always glad, when somebody hits me up via any possible way to share his music with me. Thats exactly what happened last week with MRC Riddims. The two Berlin/NYC based guys hoooked me up with their deep, dirty sounding mix of hip hop, dirty south, garage and dubstep. fuck it! that is some versatile shit. and you get two tracks for free.
in one track they delightfully cut up female vocals and create a selfminded ‘oldschool meets future’ groove in the other track they are supported by mc oddateee busting out clean, semi-aggressive vocals building a nice and dark hiphop tune, which brings my head to nod. the track called “watson”, supported by mr. vegas, alzade and hollow points, is a dark, deep, but still funky tune with some reggea dancehall vocals and full of energy and just another proof of the musical versatility of mrc riddims.
mrc riddims don’t want to follow rules, don’t want to copycat anything out there and try to create their own interpretation of music and genres. you should definitely check the soundcloud profile of these guys and give em a listen. you wont regret it – i did not.
MRC Riddims is the production/DJ team of Oktopus (dalek) and MRC (from Ifwhen & All Natural Lemon & Lime Flavors). – Two lifelong experimental guys now making music for the newest of dance floors. Influences from Jamaica to dub-step to the dirty south to Flying Lotus. They don’t give a fuck about replicating or fitting into any one genre. Its all about there own styled grooves and textures – whether its remixes, straight hip-hop, cut-ups, riddims or straight dance tracks, they’ve got their own thing going and its very undeniably MRC.
