frequenzeinlauf

last night i got the information, that statix is confirmed for the frequenzeinlauf in december. it is still a long time until then, but so you can check them out already. i first heard of them, when i was listening to mary anne hobbs radio1 show. their huge, powerful set made me go crazy while having the third beer of the night, right before leaving the house for party – but i could not leave and had to stay, the bass glued me on to the seats. i wanted to know, who this guy  is (i thought it is only one producer) or where i can get them bloody tunes. i hit statix up via myspace and was able to get them interested into playing in germany. 5 people, yeah thats right: f-i-v-e, rockin one club, that is how it’s gonna be. i am really glad, to have them guys coming over to our small festival, because pretty sure, they are about to achieve a big name for themselves within the next months…

Statix are going to release their purgatory ep on one of my favorite labels – rottun recordings within the next months. besides that there are two more forthcoming releases on screwloose records and bad influence recordings. Supported by some big names like KOMONAZMUK, WEDGE, PLASTICIAN AND MARY ANNE HOBBS, it is pretty clear to me, that statix will meet and pass all my expectations and rule that night.
