if anyone of you has ever heard of sleeparchive you might already be familiar with jegor teplow. his stamp001 release with the tune “LAC” and “Russia” has already been released in February 2007 but just now crossed my way. There is not much information on that release to be found in the net, and since it is so extraordinarily good, I wanted to share this piece.

last week i stumbled upon emika, which has two major ninja tune releases. her music is really deep and intelligently produced. with her vocals added to the package it almost gets a commercial touch, but in a really good way. check her out and feel the vibe!

I am always glad, when somebody hits me up via any possible way to share his music with me. Thats exactly what happened last week with MRC Riddims. The two Berlin/NYC based guys hoooked me up with their deep, dirty sounding mix of hip hop, dirty south, garage and dubstep. fuck it! that is some versatile shit. and you get two tracks for free.

BULLDOGS|WARTECH|ILL BILL BACHELOR
BULLDOGS aka WARTECH and the FOLIOT [zaudio london]
Bulldogs is a cutting edge electronic live-act providing most astonishing sound walls for the heads.
Appearing as a tag team of pure destruction, Wartech’s productions are backed up by The Foliot on drums for an unbelievable live dubstep impact.
With releases coming up on Z-Audio, one of UKs leading dubstep labels, this duo is about to go nuts.

hey guys. my good friend ed-paris hooked me up with this nice internet back to back dubstep mix, which he made with his djtechtools mate midifidler during the last couple of weeks. they kept sending their mix back and forth, dropping two songs each time and kept going until this little baby was born. midifidler started the set, ed-paris followed. by dropping tunes from producers like vaski, borgore and ultrablack they pretty much stated, what kind of dubstep they prefer to drop. party hard material – for sure – but don’t make the mistake to use this mix, to introduce dubstep to people who don’t know what it’s like – they’d surely run away and call the cops. or just skip forward to nero‘s in the middle remix…
furthermore, i’m really glad to see level67 & CEK‘s “the whore” being dropped. this tune just makes my dong a bit harder. but oh well. this is going to far… big shouts to the Södertälje Massive Crew in Stockholm!
i really like the idea of two djs, no matter where they are settled in this world. ed-paris is a german, leipzig based dj and midifidler is from new zealand. keep em coming.

dudes, we love 8 bit, nothing more to add. watch until the end. click on the vimeo link, to download the track.
Truckers Delight animated video clip directed by newcomer wunderkid Jérémie Périn who takes the song’s title (a tribute to those little pleasures that the lonely truck- driver indulges himself in) and takes it to the next level. Think Spielberg’s Duel + Russ Meyer’s Faster Pussycat Kill Kill! and Marc Dorcel’s wildest fantasies. All warped into an 8-bit Sega era style graphic. And this clumsy and somehow pretentious description doesn’t even come close to what you’re about to see: it’s très funny,très dirty, -très sexy. Très Flairs indeed.
Truckers Delight EP will be available in digital and 12″ on November 23th. With 2 remixes by veteran Alex Gopher of French touch fame. Who’s clearly has chosen the dance floor as his home turf. And Alixander III, taking some time off his duo Azari & III, who infiltrate the track with his science for cool grooves and his trademark modern take on the classic Chicago sound.

Pirate Soundsystem have been up there with our favourite producers for a good couple of years now and we´re always excited to hear new stuff from them. The new stuff this time is an EP coming out in a couple of weeks on Coin Operated Records who have had the likes of Kanji Kinetic, L-Vis 1990, Squire of Gothos to name just a few. The EP is titled “Trip II London” which has four tracks, each to a different style but all based around ravey samples and big basslines. Ideal. It’s only a vinyl release at the moment but hopefully that’ll change.

R.A.W. aka 6BLOCC is known for his relentless techniques behind the wheels of steel.2007 R.A.W reinvents himself as 6BLOCC and is releasing his new sound on labels like Lo Dubs, N2O, Tribe Steppaz UK, Bootshake UK, La Dubstep Nostra and the popular white label War Recordings. In 2008, Portland bass music label, Lo Dubs calls upon the 6BLOCC to rock a mix cd featuring the Lo Dubs roster. A blend of hypnotic textures and warped basslines from the future cut the f*ck up using Cubase SX3, 6blocc says, “I decided to use Cubase to give it a different feel than the usual mix-cd and to add my own samples and edits.” The result is ANALOG CLASH, the first CD compilation / mix that features dubstep music from the Americas (north and south) as well as a remix from Vex’d.

“Jekal” is the latest in a long line of gigantic sounding dubstep stompers produced by HD4000. Well known for their Dubstep FM show “Hits from the Hard Drive,” HD4000 have been steadily plotting a course for glory with their undeniably prolific array of orginal tracks. Jekal is no exception to the rulebook, it carries their signature big banging kit work and gritty, in-your-face bassline. For all HD4000 fans, “Jekal” is a welcome addition to their lengthy discography, and will bring anyone not yet familiar with their sound right to the forefront of what they bring to the dance floor. This release is backed with some serious remixes which you can preview and purchase from Mal Label Music.01. Original Mix

04. Widdler Remix [RUDEEE]Go spend your pennies on this very worthy cause, I dare you.

Statix have been producing music individually for a number of years between them but only been together as a team for just over a year. Coming from varied musical backgrounds – Metal, Reggae and early Drum & Bass, their sound is dark and diverse while keeping it interesting, rhythmic and not noisy. For me this is important as there are so many new producers coming into the scene trying to make a name for themselves by making horrible filthy noise rather than music. That’s enough on that topic.

This one has been all over the internet/radio etc and there’s a reason for that cos it’s a number of things but well produced, beautifully addictive and soothing are the first that come to mind. Play it before bed or turn it up full volume and it’ll soon be on repeat. The xx on the buttons – you all know about Florence. If you haven’t already picked it up, do it.You’ve Got The Love (The xx Remix) – Florence & The Machine

PropaTingz is a propa fellow who dabbles in perfecting the art of glitched bass music. Since being converted from his old Breakbeat ways he has taken an interesting angle on Dubstep. San Fran’s scene of Glitchhop and suchlike has obviously been a big influence but he has UK Bass sown into his seams.
